PALEONTOLOGY: ON THE TRACES OF THE PAST
Paleontology is a discipline as fascinating as it is unknown. This project was born to present to children, in a simple and creative way, but at the same time scientifically correct, this branch of science and the work of the paleontologist. The main stages in the history of our Earth appear through the simulation of an archaeological excavation, the reconstruction of a dinosaur model and the realization of a casting of fossils.

MINERALOGY AND GEOLOGY: HISTORY OF CHICCO, THE GRAIN OF SAND
The concept of "geological cycle" is introduced from a simple matter such as sand, in which all children have a generally positive and pleasant direct experience, and with the help of narration, to understand that everything that Surrounds "has a history" (that is, it has a past, an origin, that it has been transformed into something else, that it will be transformed into something else...) cause history repeats itself. Chicco, a simple grain of sand will become a mountain again, showing us that many different elements intervene in nature and that we must always find a balance.

ARCHEOLOGY: THE WORLD OF EGYPTIANS THROUGH THE OBJECTS OF THE COLLECTION DON PIETRO CALDERINI – THE HIEROGLYPHES
From the observation of some objects from the Egyptian collection of the Museum, we propose a journey to the image of the founder Don Pietro Calderini. Some of the most significant aspects of the fascinating civilization of the Egyptians are highlighted through the history of the collection; Through the observation of objects, children will discover the importance of hieroglyphic writing and what the work of a scribe was. Finally, in the laboratory, the children will also try to write a few words in hieroglyphics.

ARCHEOLOGY: THE WORLD OF EGYPTIANS THROUGH THE OBJECTS OF THE COLLECTION DON PIETRO CALDERINI – THE MYSTERY OF MUMMY
Since prehistoric times, the Egyptians devoted devotion to a divinity that took on an animal form: it was thought that a mummified animal could transmit messages and prayers to the divinity, which has enabled many temples to make it a source of income. Indeed, animals of several types, from crocodiles to cats, have been found mummified.
From the observation of the objects of organic materials of the Egyptian collection of the Museum, recently restored, one observes the most significant aspects of the fascinating civilization of the Egyptians, one discovers certain characteristics of the Egyptian polytheistic religion and especially one seizes the link Between the latter and the animals which inhabited the territory. In the laboratory, children will be able to invest in mummification with the use of used materials (newspaper, cardboard, old buttons, nylon stockings).
